The lineup for the March show is the weakest I have ever seen for Lafayette. I'm just hoping and praying at this point that they're holding the two or three bigger names they usually have to announce last. If not, bruh....He's a celebrity! To who, I have no idea.
Is that what you named it?Only reason why I didn't grab a coupon because my press credential was front and center.
I mean, they do have Kevin Nash and Booker T for the wrestling fans, but actor-wise, it's rough. Did you check out their lineup? When DJ Qualls is considered one of your upper tier guests, your show has a serious problem.

I've mentioned this before, but I keep holding out hope that they're holding their headliner announcements to the very last to drum up sales on their highest ticket levels. Otherwise, I have no idea what's going on with them.Yeah, it's absolutely dire. They're less than two months out and don't even have what I would consider anything approaching a headliner. It's bad. Power Rangers, voice actors, a couple of second tier Supernatural actors. Just rough.
That was Rachel Pizzolato. River Ridge native, graduate of John Curtis, I believe. She's a FanExpo regular, and actually hosts some of the celebrity panels there. Her original claim to fame was that she won some Mythbusters Jr. competition as a teen and got to host with Adam Savage. Now, she models, hosts, and cosplays among other things.I somehow completely missed that.
I did not miss the 6 foot tall, half naked Chun-Li, however.
I had to search to see who that was...Looks like Louisiana Comic Con is making their last flurry of guest announcements as we approach the show date in about a month and a half. DJ Qualls is probably the most recognizable actor name. I continue to be extremely unimpressed by this lineup.
Dude, I'm going to have to hire you or something to help cover the show for my. I'm broke and all that, but credentials can get you in all three days for free without all that crazy badge-tapping...I know I'm late to this thread, but I wanted to confirm that yes, FanExpo, was packed this year. The Celebrity lineup was Awesome compared to the last few pandemic affected years. I go every year, and went all three days this year because I wanted to catch all the celebrity panels. I'll have to upload to Youtube and link here some of the video I got - like Jonathan Frakes explaining his over the chair "Riker Maneuver", and Bruce Campbell not being too fond of Tobey Maguire.
By the way, if anyone that was there saw a Force Awakens era X-Wing Fighter Pilot walking around. It was me.
Imagine that. I'm pretty sure it's the same people who have been doing this show and their past lineups have always had at least one person that I wanted to meet and get an auto from. Currently, that's not the case. On the plus side, I can spend that auto money on merch, so I'm okay with that. I just find it odd that, as of current guest announcements, the quality has taken a steep dive. I wonder if there's something going on with the money side of things.I had to search to see who that was...
I really wanted to speak with someone in management at their table for Fan Expo. But alas, they weren't around.
