Oh, I imagine that @GrandAdmiral would definitely like to talk.I am the event manager for all Humble Enterprises shows
I haven't. You can send me a message by clicking on the envelope by my username.Would you like to talk? I sent you a message, but I guess you have not seen it.
I know some may find the LACC 2024 show lacking but also not every show is for everyone. We did have some more guest lined up, but things fell through for one reason or another and some are very interested in coming next year.Oh, I imagine that @GrandAdmiral would definitely like to talk.
I'm not sure how much you would be willing to discuss in this thread, but as you can see, we are finding the Lafayette show to be somewhat lacking.
Ill send it that way then. On my end I see 1 private conversation sent to you.I haven't. You can send me a message by clicking on the envelope by my username.
That thing never sends notifications. I've found things there years old at this point. On my end I see 1 private conversation sent to you.
Thank you for the information. I understand that you can't always please everyone and you are trying to cater to a wide audience. As I stated earlier in the thread, my kids and I will still be attending, but there aren't any guests who are a must meet for us, which is a first. We'll be going for the vendors and the atmosphere.I know some may find the LACC 2024 show lacking but also not every show is for everyone. Some people may not know that LACC is a hard show to put on one of the reasons is the airport is regional, so flights tend to be double also the event space we use only uses TicketMaster and will not switch to any other which if you don't already know TicketMaster is a horrible ticketing service and along with tickets unlike most event spaces, we do not get the funds from ticket sales until about a week after the event has taken place. So, everything we do before the show is out of pocket and I do mean everything flights, hotel, guest, ect.
We are trying our best with what we have to work with. The split was mentioned, and it is a hard subject to talk about for multiple reasons and some of the struggles we have encountered has been because of the old companies' disillusion (AVC) but with that being said we are very happy that the split happened. I personally would have made a lot more money if I would have gone with the other company during the split, but I like being able to sleep at night.
We will continue doing shows as long as we can and hopefully well into the future.
OMG, I love him. I mean, I'm relatively sure he's not completely sane; but then that's true of most gifted comedians, sadly. But I love him!!!!Alan Tudyk is going to be at the MS Comicon in June. If no one else showed up, that would be enough for me to go.
How about a robe and wizard hat?AND... I can bring a staff...
How about a robe and wizard hat?
I don't feel so alone now.I may be legally stupid.
At first I thought that she was Jewel Staite from Firefly. That was Rachel Pizzolato. River Ridge native, graduate of John Curtis, I believe. She's a FanExpo regular, and actually hosts some of the celebrity panels there. Her original claim to fame was that she won some Mythbusters Jr. competition as a teen and got to host with Adam Savage. Now, she models, hosts, and cosplays among other things.
