For what ever reason, people do not want to admit that natural immunity is superior. People are clearly angry I am posting links to articles pointing this out. As I said, Israel already had demonstrated this prior to the CDC.

My new policy is just to block their negativity because my life is better without people like that.

Why do you think that it is speculative that the vaccine likely helped your infection? Saved your life may be hyperbole, but you're honestly going to say it didn't work at all?

I think the natural immunity issue is just partially loaded. I think it's fair to consider anyone documented to have had covid to not be subjected to a vaccine mandate. I think it is also a question if it mattered what strain. If we could even tell.

However, the loaded part is people, who since the beginning stated we shouldn't change anything from our lives and just all roll the 99.x% dice (unless you were older or immune compromised, in which case, good luck avoiding the Forrest fire burning out of control.) Too many out there going, "see, why did so many sheeple freak out?"

Hindsight 20/20 is fine. But it's mostly a dumb risk to take if anyone still hasn't had covid or been vaccinated. And some young, healthy folks did, in fact, die, or were very near death.

I don't think its hyperbole at all after the way he carried on when he did get COVID, and I'm not making light of his illness (because he sure didn't). It’s reasonable to think that without the vaccine, his illness would have been far worse since this is what vaccines are designed to do.

Getting to natural immunity means risking death from illness. The amount of people dying to avoid taking a vaccine is now in the hundreds of thousands, not speculation. I'm happy you're alive to argue my speculation after you protected yourself. Im happy your first exposure to COVID didn't happen when you had a naive immune system.

You stated that hundred of thousands of deaths came because people were avoiding the vaccine but that doesn't hold water against the numbers. And if you read any of my past post, I'm an advocated on helping the most vulnerable (older people and those with underlying issues).

YOU pointed to the deaths of people over 50 and posted a link to the table. That was the only explanation you gave, "Unless those hundreds of thousands of people just happened to be over 50". Thats a direct quote.

If you got THAT from my post, it is a slam dunk to say that you don't care anything about the unvaccinated dying but I don't read too deep into things on a forum.

This makes no sense. I can't even follow the conclusion you're trying to make even if COVID deaths were limited to people over 50. Theres insurmountable proof that the unvaccinated are overwhelmingly more likely to die from COVID compared to those that vaccinated.

COVID deaths aren't limited to people over 50 and I've never said that. But the numbers presented by the CDC tells us that over 93% of deaths associated with COVID are in that age range and from other data out there, having comorbidities (obesity being top of the list) increases the chances of anyone coming down with serious symptoms, hospitalizations, and death. Let's be honest; we don't know the true story of how this affects everyone because last I checked, we didn't have anything based on those who were positive and asymptomatic. But if what is below is a trend, healthy people aren't dying from COVID by the hundreds of thousands.



I'm not one to make this black and white vax or unvaxed because hindsight and "Science"(TM) has really shown us that there are a lot of factors at play and it starts with the individuals health.

You do not believe the data that a high majority of deaths from Covid are from unvaccinated?
People would rather risk death/serious illness from a virus than get vaxxed because of natural immunity? Sorry, judge all you want, that's just an idiotic stance..

But we do know the vaccination status of the people dying. Case closed. 93% of people dying are over 50. Okay, fine. Were the overwhelming majority of those 93% unvaccinated or not? You know the answer.

65+ accounts for 630,878 of those deaths. They also have the highest vaccination rate for any age group in the US. It is not black and white

The question in my mind is how many of those deaths were unvaccinated and how many were vaccinated? I think you can get a pretty good idea of the effectiveness of the vaccine if we know this number.

This is something that I would also love to know as well. The UK presents their data so nicely and we have both raw numbers and rates.
