That would seem to be a smoking gun. If it came from the Wuhan Lab, it absolutely matters. There would need to be a vigorous review of their safety protocols to find out how it got out and what security measures they need to take to prevent it from happening again.I don't understand why it matters.

If it originated from there, I'm sure that they know. If they know, then I'm sure that they've done an internal investigation.If it came from the Wuhan Lab, it absolutely matters. That said, I'm not sure China will be a willing participant in that sort of accountability.
The thing is, I'm not convinced they've done anything to reduce the risk of it happening again, if it actually did happen.If it originated from there, I'm sure that they know. If they know, then I'm sure that they've done an internal investigation.
I'm also sure that they'll never admit to anything or allow anyone from the outside to have complete access.
Just standing around pointing our fingers accomplishes nothing.
