At the risk of interrupting what is now just another political thread......my wife had a patient last night that got tested for suspected covid-19. Supposed to get the results back in 48 hours. For now the hospital just recommends her to check her temp often blah blah blah. I'm hoping he comes back negative but the reality of being married to a nurse is it's probably coming home with her at some point. It feels like I'm standing on tracks just waiting for the train. Really worries me because I have these visions of me being one of the people that wouldn't survive it. I see all these deaths and "underlying issues"....I wish I knew more about what those were.

The kicker....she wasn't even supposed to be working.

The governor of WA tonite issued an immediate stay-at-home order, which includes ordering non-essential businesses to shut down for a period of not less than two weeks.

My mom has a friend in ICU. Had a kidney transplant two years ago and diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year. Getting real close to home now.

If you're immune, you can go back to work with other immune people. (Provided you continue to remain separated from unknown or known-vulnerable people)

If you are immune, why would you have to be separated? Only thing I can think of is if they carry the virus on their person and transmits it that way, but the odds seem pretty unlikely for that to happen.
