I hope the government is working on a plan for Hurricane evacuations during a corona virus outbreak.

I was thinking about western wildfire season; we aren’t far away from that either. We usually are packed into tent cities, easily 2k personnel on large fires. We already have to deal with “camp crud” which is upper respiratory infection due to breathing smoke 24/7 and limited hygiene opportunities.

Add Covid to the mix and we’re going to have serious problems keeping firefighters healthy.

I think surgical masks (or just like a blue shop towel tied to your head) will be the new norm. Asia has been doing it for years with all of their major flu epidemics. Time to just do what they're doing.

Any public transportation, we ALL should be in masks. This prevents the morons who are sick and in some sort of denial from spreading it. Airlines will start handing them out like pretzels.
