Darren Rizzi’s presser: “I’m an accountability guy. We’ve been doing things the same way here for a long time. Change is needed.” (2 Viewers)

I like that they said he holds people accountable and will call people out. TM insinuated that DA didn’t do that.

Seemed directed at Carr.

DA knows Carr does not like being dressed down, this is what had him playing progressively worse in LV that last season, and destroys his confidence so he never did it. MT seemed to resent this a lot. Seemed to send a bad message IMHO.

Da only coached Carr 4 games in Oak, then Da was fired. MT resents Carr, that’s a fact. Why? I could only speculate. It seems more than hospitable balls.

I got to wonder why some of the changes they've done this week, they didn't do earlier?

Going to guess because they were being overruled by the HC.

Either that, or some of the assistants had their own ideas for how a program should be run but kept them to themselves out of respect for their boss and his vision.

How do you interpret this quote from our new interim head coach?
What does he think we are capable of doing that we haven't shown recently?

My guess is that we will be much more aggressive offensively and will probably incorporate some trick plays and/or misdirection.....

But, damn, this thread title is about as damaging to DA's tenure as could be.....

I believe DA controlled everything to a fault. Rizzi is gonna let Klint be Klint. As far as the D goes, balls to the wall, blitz more, and never rush 3 and drop 8. It's time to dictate rather than lay down

I believed this from the beginning, the offensive philosophy under DA changed immediately and not for the better....loser football....

We got black & gold boas for you, and for you, and for you...

Remember back when it was being celebrated that things were “less tense” on Airline once Payton left?

Not sure why Mickey is mocking the parking lot stuff but it’s little things like that that guys weren’t doing under Payton.

It’s about breeding an obedient, sound, no-nonsense culture.

Somehow ML interpreted that as a "lack of discipline" and used the 8th fewest penalties argument to refute that interpretation. But again, I feel like ML was gaslighting because if you read the article, that's not what the article said. It referenced a lack of accountability, and not focusing on the details, letting things "slide" without consequence. What ya got for THAT Loomis?

Maybe it's just me, but every time ML speaks he just seems out of touch and I'm left scratching my head wondering WTH he just say? He seems to dodge questions and parry into something else. Seems like a lack of accountability from HIM? Maybe it's coming from the top down?
