American women would rather poke a bear than a man.“Who knew the bear would be poked if I stuck it with this stick that’s here in my hand?”
Speaking for myself, I liked the comments. No offense taken.Damn all I said/observed was that the men in the forum have a thing for Asian women and suddenly everyone is defensive and explaining in paragraphs why they prefer Asian women over Americans/white women & running to the defense of Asian women saying that they aren’t all sloots & gold diggers.
Let the record reflect that I never stated any kind of stereotypes. it was the other men telling y’all to be careful for the gold diggers & sloots. Not me.
I quoted you by accident above MBS and deleted it so fast. Props for getting to it. That wasnt directed at your comments. The poking bear comment certainly had this reply in mind though.Damn all I said/observed was that the men in the forum have a thing for Asian women and suddenly everyone is defensive and explaining in paragraphs why they prefer Asian women over Americans/white women & running to the defense of Asian women saying that they aren’t all sloots & gold diggers.

I actually knew that because you posted a picture of yourself in here before. Or I at least knew that you were skinny at the time of that photo.I'm skinny.
I've probably put on 10 pounds since then. 10 pounds on a 6 foot frame...I'm still skinny, yeah.I actually knew that because you posted a picture of yourself in here before. Or I at least knew that you were skinny at the time of that photo.
As I said, in my mind, everyone is the guy in the meme until they prove otherwise. You’ve proven otherwise.I've probably put on 10 pounds since then. 10 pounds on a 6 foot frame...I'm still skinny, yeah.

I got no preferences lolOh yeah. Forgot about your thing for Central American women.
My ex husband was from South America. I’m cool on Latino men for the rest of my forkin life.
Also, I was doing this stuff that @bclemms is doing. That’s how I ended up married. Was traveling in South America with my then best friend & my ex husband was a friend of her family (she was from South America too which is what took us there). He had just gotten back after living in London for 3 years. We would meet up on trips, visit each other, etc. stupid in lust and didn’t want to be apart. It likely would have died a natural death over time due to distance under normal circumstances but then my dad passed away unexpectedly and not long after, we decided getting married was a good idea
Then, once we settled into regular married life in the same house and country, all the novelty of this foreign person wore off & you discover people are the same everywhere & we ended up with the same problems every couple has & likely would have broken up before marrying if we had been able to date while living separately in the same city and doing normal dating in lieu of honeymoon trips.
When I judge y’all, just know that I was once y’all. I just know better now.
I’ve never been married and completely agree. The problem I do see on the horizon is the government requiring us to get married to be together in the US. That is a bridge I dont have to cross for a long time and I’ll have prenups from here to Hong Kong if that would take place.I can appreciate that, but i think ur POV is more an indictment of the institution of marriage than anything else .. i wont say ill *never* marry again, but i hope to avoid it in the future .. with my ex we were together off and on for 14 yrs, but once we got married it died after 3.5 yrs…. I see nothing wrong with the ‘honeymoon phase’ lasting for as long as one can possibly stretch it.. that said, my ex and i, for the decade or so that preceded our marriage, we bought a home together, lived together , adopted dogs together and on and on.. definitely not all honeymoon, but to me it was a nice sweet spot since every day, either she or I reserved the right to wake up any morning and declare that we did not want to be there… there was no piece of paper forcing us to “stick it out”… no religious component since we are both agnostic.. no getting the government involved in our relationship/love life… UNTIL we made the mistake of getting married .
