I mean I'm with you, I created a thread chomping at the bit 2 weeks ago. I'm cool if Curry struggles a bit out of the gate with a short week. But at least we would be doing the right thing. I don't care about immediate results. I don't think we're going anywhere with Allen regardless of who is leading this offense. It's probably in my own better interest if they keep Pete so both can go down together at the end of the season.

I'm slow to say the type of thing I'm about to say. Allen needs to do whatever he thinks he needs to do to save his job. I said last year he was a bad hire and we needed to move on, but the team rallied a little and they decided to keep him so I said okay, whatever. I liked what they did in the offseason and was looking forward to this year.

I've seen enough. I was right last year and after this season unless they make the playoffs Allen needs to go. I don't like what I see of his teams on the field. I don't like how he handles things off the field. His over-all record as a head coach is horrible. The record is the only thing that matters. He is clearly not a good head coach. I've seen enough.

This is exactly what I went through. I wanted him gone but then he seemed to make some changes (like actually hire a DC instead of a nondecision of "CO" coaches) that weren't "keep doing what you're doing". Fooled me and everybody. He could GET the job but he can't DO the job.

Unfortunately, I agree. There were some built in excuses last year that aren't there this year. I think what we see is what we will get.
