Dennis Allen confirms that Mickey Loomis was not in favor of firing him after Panthers loss (24 Viewers)

Allen is a good guy, but he didn't belong as a head coach. Glazer looks bored listening to Dennis.
Pretty unprofessional to leave before addressing the players just because you did not want cameras on you. A professional addresses their subordinates/co-workers personally before leaving.

Yay! Everyone gets to vent their anger out at ML again, this time for something they already knew and vented out about already!

Pile on…there’s room for everyone!
What else are we to do after three consecutive losing seasons? Let the mob have their fun, it's not like Mick is going to get fired.

DA absolutely deserved to be fired mid-season, and it would have been irresponsible not to. The product on the field had become unwatchable. The players were bordering on mutiny and would have started turning on eachother again like the year before.

And through all of that, Allen did not lift a finger to address any of. And apparently neither did Loomis.

Allen got fired because the players wanted him to be fired. Allen got fired because fans stopped coming to the game. Heck, fans stopped even talking about the games. This forum was a ghost town (myself included).

We may not have won many more games than expected under Rizzi, but we competed. They players actually tried. There was a reason to turn the games on. I will happily take that over dragging a broken lockeroom and fandbase over the finish line to spare a mediocre coach's pride.

Shout out to DA. He was a darn good defensive coordinator.
As I used to say during his tenure, some guys are lieutenants and others are generals. You have to be a general to be a leader of men in football. DA was an excellent lieutenant and coordinated the defense during a period of resurgence for that unit (2017-21) versus what it was the previous period of time (2014-16). But he wasn't and isn't a general, personality-wise.

Plus, other details since his firing that have come to light, mainly the lack of mandated dynamic stretches before games, are just baffling to me.

Last year he was smacking on some gum...this time he's going to be full on repulsive and stand at the podium while nibbling down on a Twizzler
Part of me hopes that Loomis is "too old for this ????" and decides to step down and announces it at his presser.
