Dennis Allen not expecting to make any staff changes going into the Bye (2 Viewers)

Dennis Allen wanted to be a head coach. No team would hire him after his reputation with the Raiders, but the Saints were afraid to move on from Payton so gave Allen his second shot with the understanding he would just keep doing what Payton was doing.

The problem is Allen has a fraction of the charisma and leadership that Payton has. No one on the Saints is afraid of disappointing Allen. It’s why the veteran players are fighting so hard to enforce accountability at their level, because they are getting zero from the coaching staff.
truthfully we all saw this coming. Even Clutz pointed it out with his parting shot. Saying that his best years were under a coach that he feared. In this game there has to be a hierarchy and a healthy level of fear (respect) of the leader. The hierarchy is for people that cannot self motivate themselves at the level required. So they depend on the system to do it. Das workaround is to simply not to have those people on the team. But this isn’t realistic.

I don't think Dennis Allen has the authority to fire anyone. This is all Loomis. Look at it from the perspective of Loomis runs the ship and everything makes sense. Loomis needs Allen as the coach because Allen is a beta and will let Loomis do it. You can't bring in a Pederson type coach because he wants too much control.

In Loomis's interviews, he still sticks up for Carmichael. So he's not going anywhere over the bye but he'll be their sacrificial lamb that gets fired over the off-season to save Allen's job. We won't bring in any new outside OC either, they'll just promote Curry.

It’ll come out. Yes, they pushed Sean out. They thought they had their man in house and Sean’s voice got too big. It wasn’t super messy but it happened. Sean politely said if you think you can’t do it without me be my guest. Payton had his issues but he was the key cog that moved this team.
You’re creating a theory without evidence, but it’s an interesting take, so I’ll allow it 😜

Derek Carr is headed for an one of a kind NFL record, He's gonna be the only QB in history to get a HC fired from two different franchise's just get on with it already

I don't think Loomis wants another big personality in the building, especially at this point in his career. The HC basically runs the building, while the GM has an office.

Dude, put down the bottle, bong, or whatever it is your medicating with. Payton left on his own. It's well established. What evidence do you have to back any of this self-contrived story that the Saints organization pushed him out? 😵‍💫

Dennis Allen is not a head coach. Period. He is a decent DC but not a head coach. He is just regurgitating old Sean Payton lines. He has no identity nor original thought. He’s a C student. Average. That’s it and that’s all the Saints will be with him at the helm. I don’t see any fun, excitement, brotherhood, nothing from the Saints. They come in, play, win or lose, get paid, go home and have DA say he has to do better 10 weeks into the season. Loomis is to blame as well for holding on to the ghosts of Sean Payton. It’s not working.

This organization needs a new identity, a new mantra, a new everything. Top to bottom. It’s been said multiple times on podcasts, this board, X, everywhere that if things do not change, fans will leave and that equates to lost money. Dennis Allen is going to cost the Saints money and then and only then will they maybe listen. The problem is the Saints mentality is “we are in first place and it will come together” and that is going to kill them.

Fans have gone through elation with Payton, anger in 2021 & 2022 and now we are hitting the apathy phase with Allen and that’s when it becomes dangerous.

I do not blame Dennis Allen for the failure of this team as much as I think everybody should be pointing the fingers at Micky Loomis who hired this clown D.A to start with plus has made way to many dumb personnel & contract decisions. I also think Jeff Ireland has been a failure also, as majority of his top drafts picks have been a disaster so far & think it time to send entire scouting Dept. packing after season is over.. They have #1 pick Trevor Penning who early in 2nd year sitting on the bench. Another #1 pick Payton Turner who has been out on IR more than he been on the Field. They always have a love fest every draft with RAS Scores of players coming out in draft, than if a player actually worth a crap on the college game tape. Thats a fact. as they bring up how high a players RAS score was after every draft. So far Saints have completed 10 games into the season & not one change has taking place to fix this disaster of a team by anybody in charge. Offense is still a major joke, and the Defense has steadily been going downhill along with the offense. We have an owner in Gayle Benson who you never hear a peep from & a GM who seems to always be AWOL, till he makes an appearance after the season to make B.S excuses to the local press. This Saints franchise seems to not have anybody being held accountable at any level of the organization. This shows that Sean Payton was one running everything & making all the decisions in this franchise and why things did not go south quicker.

Just try another play caller. And if the results are the same its the personal, but if the offense rolls then we have our answer. And if I am not mistaken, didn't the passing game coordinator call the plays in tbe preseason. It sure as hey can not be any worse then Pete is doing. With Pittsburgh and now Buffalo firing their OC's trying to fix their offense, we would have to be Simple Jack to keep doing the same damn thing week in and week out. 28 games into Pete as OC and we stink. Let's actually try to fix the problems because our window will be closed after this year. Jordan and Davis deserve better then this
