Dennis Allen on Graham being inactive earlier in the season: “Let’s start focusing on what we need to do moving forward" (2 Viewers)

I'm sure his locker room snippets were riveting as always.

"Hey, look. Its hard to win in this league, you with me? We found a way to get it done.

AND YET! there's still a whole lot we need to clean up (15 weeks in....), you with me?"
It's almost comical how bad he is trying to emulate Sean Payton (i.e. "in our league", "the player", beginning a sentence with "Listen" or "Look") yet he is failing miserabley.

This is his way of not throwing Carmichael under the bus. I'm sure in a perfect world he would have liked to allow Pete the freedom to make all the decisions and be a minor league version of Sean. He just hasn't been and Allen has to ride this out.

Why isn’t he fired yet

I chuckled slightly at this as reading it in DA's voice fit perfectly.

Graham had an "episode" during training camp, who's to say that Graham was not brought back to the team to help him transition into retirement because maybe he was having some issues in his personal life.

Hard for me to envision an NFL team burning a precious roster spot for this purpose, especially on a player that, while he was great here, he kind of burned bridges on the way out and wasn’t really thought of as “One of our own” anymore in every sense of the phrase.

is that what lead to his "arrest" in San Diego? Back spasms?

"After being taken into custody, Graham was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Dr. John Amoss, the Saints’ team doctor, believes Graham experienced a seizure. He remained under medical supervision Friday night and has since been released, according to the team."

Man I kind of sense that. Seems like a great guy with a big heart. I hope once football is over he finds something fulfilling outside of it.
