by the time he arrived here, he was a caricature of the "Bears Ditka" - the game had passed him by.

It was his final season that afforded me the opportunity to buy season tickets for $25/seat lol

I don’t believe that. We are not looking for a politician, just a dang viable head coach. I don’t care about an anti- . I just want a dang HC that can make adjustments, have his team prepared every week, has some confidence, can figure out problems, know how to utilize their main pieces, be creative, be willing to adapt, and make me believe that there are better days on the horizon. @guidomerkinsrules, you are my guy, but has failed for two consecutive seasons dealing with the same nonsense. He just doesn’t have it or get it. You can’t sit there and type in defense for this guy. The football Gods did us the biggest solid this year with the schedule. fumbled it. Even would say that he hasn’t done a good enough job bc that’s basically what he IS saying in his press conferences

See I respectfully disagree with that as well.

It’s like a relationship. Sometimes you endure a crappy relationship, but it shows you what you don’t need or want. I’m not sure who I want as HC bc the list of potential candidates are not out yet, so that’s just dreaming right now. All I do know, is has shown us what he can or can not do. You can go back and check my past posts. I defended him bc I was willing to give him a chance, after he got all of his “groceries”. Plus, I gave him a basement of 10 wins this year based off of our schedule. I firmly thought PC would figure out the things he lacked last year and the same with . Nope…..both of these guys have shown that they do not belong having any control over their job title. Teams have always made some bad decisions, that’s just nature, but we can’t continue down a dark road with no direction. We are literally wasting a good mixture of young and veteran players, who they all want to win, while stinking up, in a stink division. Our division was literally there for the taking two years straight and we can not seize it bc of who we have leading it. With that being said, thankfully the other division teams are in the same boat as we are. Not one team looks to have an immediate bright future, unless the Falcons get a really good QB in the draft, then they will have potential. We have a chance to bring in a HC and turn some things around.

Not wanting a defensive minded HC retread is not the result of making decisions in the wrong headspace. This team needs an Offensive minded head coach, the reasons are plentiful.

The rules favor the offense
The officiating favors the offense
The playing field favors offense
TV rating favor offense
Offense sells tickets

Fans weren't booing when we knew we had an offense that could always be counted on to score points. With offense there's hope.

The best teams in the league...driven by an elite offense with great OL and QB play. Bill Belichick and MikeTomlin aint bringing what this team needs.

Some of us are all over the place, but there are some basics.
DA needs to go; his head coaching record clearly shows that he doesn't have it.
Luck Loo probably just got lucky with Payton considering he background was on the money side, not the football side (Ireland was a Parcells referral). That said, the can't-miss guys, Harbouhaugh, Tomlin, etc., are not coming here.
Hence, Lucky Loo has to spin the dice on an unproven coordinator or position coach.
I think more people are realistic than Loomis may realize, we're not stupid. Allen is a failure, and at the end of the season, he needs to go. However, I don't think Lucky Loo wants to do this, so we may get another OC in a pathetic attempt to placate the mob which has unfairly been labeled as irrational.

They should just turn over play calling to an AI. Certainly there is a program that can analyze the likelihood of different plays working based on data this season from both teams. That’s how football video games calculate the outcome of different plays.
