I met a guy at the restaurant I work at this past Saturday who was rocking a Saints Super Bowl Champions cap. I approached him to find out if he was a Saints fan. His name is Paul, is a die hard fan like all of us at Stoney's, and just moved to Denver. I told him about Stoney's and he was super pumped to know that there's a Saints bar in Downtown Denver. Here's to the group gaining a new family member.

Not sure how many of you are familiar with Groupon, but it's a website that provides one good deal per day in your local market. It works by having enough people (the group) by the deal of the day (the coupon, hence groupon), and then the deal goes through. I've checked and enough people already have bought the deal, so this one is now guaranteed if you buy it. I've never seen a deal fail, and I've bought a lot of things off Groupon (mainly certificates for restaurants). Today's deal is for Stoney's - for $10 you get $20 worth of food and drink at Stoney's. When you buy something, you then print out your receipt with a bar code on it, and then bring it to the place and they have a roster of who bought stuff, the code, etc. Since that is where everyone goes, I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. Again - it's a legit site and I've bought a lot of stuff off them before, and never once had a problem with it. So you should all go to www.groupon.com and get $20 worth of stuff for $10.

Also, if you don't have a groupon account, everytime someone gets someone else to sign up they get a credit towards future purchases on their account. If you wouldn't mind going to http://www.groupon.com/r/uu6382653 to sign up, then I'll get a credit which I'd certainly appreciate.

Hope you all get a chance to take advantage of this deal. I'm sorry I still haven't made it to a game this season yet, life with infants and toddlers is difficult, and when you have DirecTV it's hard to make an argument to leave them for a day. Hopefully soon I'll get to meet all of you - sure does look like you are all having a blast every week.

As for the groupon deal, it sounds like an awesome deal. I'm very interested in using it. My only problem is I don't have a printer. Is it possible for me to still receive the discount without the printed receipt?

I just noticed groupon has a mobile app, so you may be able to present it on a mobile app? I plan on downloading it. Not sure about that though. If you have a fax machine maybe you could email it to me and I can fax it back to you?

OK. I'm definitely going to look into the mobile app. I have to leave for work right now but I'm going to check it out when I get home tonight. I just downloaded the app. Looks like you can pull the deal up on your phone, but I've never done that obviously. 30 minutes left to buy for anyone interested.

I've lived in Colorado and just found out about Bayou Bob's near 16th Street Mall.

By the way, there's a new seafood place at Park Meadows mall in Lone Tree that apparently has po'boys and seasonal stuff. Once I go, I'll fill yall in on how it is. Has anyone been there?
