the next two years you invest in both lines. Build some continuity along the front. People may not like it but you let Carr, Rattler or Haener lead the way and be middle/low end of the pack. You invest majority of your money in the rest of the team and strike it with the best option at qb in the 26/27 draft. It wont be easy on the fan base, but you have to get out from under our current cap bill. Build the team first before worrying about a qb. Honestly I wouldnt even look at QB till 27. Unless you have a shot at a sure fire #1 or #2 pick in 26. 2025 remove qb from your wish list.

Guys what do yall think about the Saints going after Jackson Dart he is a senior all time leading passer at ole Miss just passed Eli every year he has improved I think he would be a great pick up in the draft ??

I’m an Ole Miss fan. He’s not an NFL QB. He lacks accuracy in general, but especially on deep balls. He can’t survey the field and locks in on 1 receiver, and his arm strength isn’t great.

Did you also see how many throws his missed against LSU? The int he threw in the end zone, the receiver was wide open. He also had the TE wide open in the flat. He’s a great college QB, but he is not anywhere close to a 1st round QB.

Ideally sure. But if you find a guy that you think is a franchise QB you draft him or move up to draft him. You may not get that chance again for many years.

I mean look at Washington. There were nothing last year and now they have a franchise QB and are trading for pieces to build around him. A franchise QB changes everything and makes it easier to build. Guy want to play with franchise QBs.

100, WRs and linemen can always be found. Draft those first, harder to get that qb.

Contrary to popular belief finding WRs are not as hard as the Saints make it out to be. It is crazy to think since 2016, the Saints haven't hit on a WR in the draft other than Olave.

yes he had a rough time in the hardest stadium in college football. I helped with that by being a super loud butt crevasse

I didn't see him as an NFL QB. Much like Coral before him too wild and errant. He is a great college athlete but that seldom translates in the NFL. NFL is all about discipline and outsmarting. Everyone is a great athlete at that level.

I agree but I don’t think Jackson will be a mid rounder I think he will be a high draft pick in the first round he is accurate great runner can throw the deep ball smart qb

Harris, Nolen, Pegues, Princely yes, but no to Dart even in the later rounds. He’s no better than what we already have. We need to start by building the lines. Only draft a sure fire QB.
