Elon Musk makes $43 Billion offer for private buyout of Twitter (4 Viewers)

gotta wonder if Elmo pays someone to grind his Diablo account...the time commitment to these types of games is not something you would expect from a person who is supposedly a CEO of several companies

i would think paying multiple

Based on what I've seen, its unlikely. I'm sure he has some help (that many companies hes owning/running, he can't possibly have the time to do it all himself), but he also live streams some of his playtime.

IDK how many of you have played Diablo 4, but when you start getting really high in level like that, it's not just about character and gear. You do have to know how to play it extremely well and your play has to match that character and gear. It's not easy. I did in 3 and 4. I can say that to some degree, the success he shows on that game is mostly his own to claim rather then someone else doing it mostly for him (or many others).

I know many on here don't like it, but I'm really glad what he's done buying twitter.

i Deleted my Twitter account shortly after he went coocoo, which was not long after he bought it. which i miss utilizing the Random Stuff From Twitter Thread here, but between me deleting my account and work blocking Twitter, that thread is mostly useless.
i would do the same with Facbook if Zuck started personally posting hate on a daily basis ...

I personally don't understand why people say he went crazy. I'm just not seeing anything ridiculous from him. All I see, is someone who bought a company, was pressured to do things for a political party, said no and started lobbying against them. It seems more like people absolutely despise him for lobbying against a political party more then anything.

Then again, my circle of who I follow on X is very limited mostly to investments. Some of the worlds best elliot wave theorists utilize it, and I find them to be very beneficial.

You literally haven’t seen any of his deranged tweets? And I think most people despised him before he jumped neck deep in politics.

The actions that Zuckerberg has admitted to taking with Facebook due to pressure from elected officials is no better
i agree.
but Zuck himslef isn't on Facebook daily pushing blatant lies and conspiracy theories. because he knows the same thing that is happening to Twitter wil happen to Facebook. But what is the difference in being pressured by elected officals and doing the same thing for a promise of power in a gov't position?

As the father of a son with high functioning autism who is now in his 20s, I don't find it surprising that Musk posts things that are socially awkward and seemingly "deranged." Autistic people generally say things that they feel are correct in the moment without having the benefit of filtering themselves over how they think others will react. It's simply not the way their minds function like the rest of us.
So while I know Musk posts things sometimes that are extreme, I take them with a huge grain of salt because I know how my son says things sometimes without any intent of malice that are taken quite badly due to his lack of ability to empathize with others as most people are able to do. He doesn't say these awkward things to be mean or to try to cause hurt feelings. His mind is too innocent to think that way/ He just doesn't realize anyone will be offended by what he says (talking about my son).
I'm not saying Musk doesn't post things that are out of line; just that I don't believe he does so out of hatred, because hatred is a somewhat foreign idea to an autistic mind.
Just my .02 on that.

It's pretty crappy either way. Welcome to life in an oligarchy

not all people who have high functioning autism are the same. And i do believe he knows exactly what he creates when he tweets all that stuff, 100%

Appreciate your input. Don't functions from autism vary? I always thought they did.

They absolutely vary. From a guy who has worked with multiple autistic people in the past and a cousin who is severely autistic.

There are some common traits, and some traits unique to each individual so the symptoms manifest in a variety of ways.
