Notwithstanding his undercutting of his own message by the prominently displayed book over his shoulder, it is a good message and so I'm going to leave this post up...for now.

Guys, please don't take this in a partisan politics direction (although, ironically, we might still have a Politics board on this site if everyone actually followed this guy's advice in a sincere way).

Even more tangential
Yesterday I gave my debate class the task of building an educational curriculum from the bottom up
As might be expected they turned into little tyrants essentially making the way they were raised the rule of law
What did surprise me is they almost completely leapfrogged any discussion of ‘the 3Rs’ and went right to behavior (and parenting, by extension)
It didn’t escape my notice that they type of behavior/parenting they sought to correct is something they have zero actual knowledge of/experience with

tbf, this is an atypical class from most of my students- other classes might have a bit more of a globalist, empathetic take
But it was a fun exercise/discussion

Confirmed to cheat at Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4, has a public meltdown over it, and gets in a fight with YouTubers over it.
