I think this is a "whatever works for your relationship" topic. If you're both cool with it, so be it. I've never been a fart in front of other people person. Just personal preference - I wouldn't whip it out and start peeing in front of anyone either, so I put farts in the same category. My ex-wife was a farter and it definitely killed the sexy vibe. Wife 2.0 is not a farter and, well, it's a breath of fresh air (pun obviously intended). We've been together 13 years so it's not like this is some new relationship. I don't think it's morally offensive or disrespectful - Astrid is a little over the top there - but it is gross.
