Watched it tonight. I will be highly upset if BBT isn't nominated for an Emmy...plus the writers. This is wonderfully dark & funny. Every episode has been a gem.

What did y'all think when Stavros found THE MONEY? I was hollering OMG OMG OMG. Remember it was 1987. That is one of the most amazing tie ins between tv show & movie ever! I have seen comments on message boards saying they think that the money belonged to Malvo somehow. I also saw a theory that Lester's festering wound is all in his head...symbolic of his festering guilt. Interesting theory for sure.

Yeah, I thought the tie in to the film was great. In an early shot in Starvos' office I thought I saw the red ice scraper. I thought it may just be a little wink to the film, but to see it actually tie in was fantastic.

I saw similar theories regarding Lester's hand wound. Which would explain why it was never acknowledged by doctors or cops. Also, Molly's friend, in last week's episode, gave a random story about spiders popping out of someone's wound. Sorta reminded me of Lester.

But this has quickly become my favorite show. Obviously the leads are great, but every every character was perfectly cast. Adam Goldberg, Oliver Platt Keith Carradine and Bob Odenkirk really bring so much to their roles.

Gotta say, BBT is just amazing. How he turned from the killer Malvo to the harmless preacher and back again was terrific.

I tape the show, then watch it and skip through the commercials. I find I do that with most of the shows I watch unless they are live.

I here ya. There is just so much going on in this series. I love how Lester is turning into a pretty nasty little dude. And that last scene with him in the bed was perfect. Kinda solidified the transformation for him and the audience.
