N/S From David Newton & Dan Graziano: Bryce Young Open to Being Traded (1 Viewer)

While everyone is carrying on and blaming the kid because of his size, it’s he’s 5’10, 210 lbs. Kyler Murray isn’t bigger or taller. He’s just mobile and had time to develop. Remember when he was being knocked earlier in his career too. It really isn’t Young’s fault he’s in this position. No rookie QB can succeed in Carolina with no weapons and no basic plan to help him along. Put that kid in KUBIAK’s offense with the weapons around him and he’d go at least 8-9 his first season. The best thing for him is to go where he can sit and learn for a couple of seasons under a good team and coordinator.
More along the lines of most Alabama QBs are complete garbage in the NFL because they had the most talent in college to help them, and they never grew through adversity.... here is his chance to grow. Blame Saban.

There's always one.

Remember Kamara was washed until newsflash, people realized playing in a bad offense with no offensive line will make a player look bad. No young QB is turning Carolina around. Andy Dalton is not turning Carolina around. Carolina's problem are bigger than who's is playing QB.

Correct

What does Saban have to do with it? All the QBs did under Saban was win. There was an article about how rookie QBs are being treated around the league. Only CJ Stroud went to an organization that had strength around him and a solid defense to support the offense.

If I were him, I would try to land somewhere that runs the Shanahan/Kubiak scheme.

6th round pick should do it. Not worth anymore value than that.

That’s not to say he won’t turn his career around with a better organization, but there’s very little trade value

Don’t know what he can do under a good coordinator behind a good oline with weapons around him. No need to be saying a 6th/7th rounder or a bust.

Sure, Trent Dilfer has a ring too, but...

I watched a bit of the Bears the other night. At least, you can see glimpses of why Caleb Williams was drafted #1: size, strength, mobility, strong arm... Young, on the other hand, I see nothing.

As for Murray, he's ok, but really nothing exceptional. That 2019 draft was a terrible QB class.

Saban is irrelevant... It was a throw away line, a JOKE relating to the actual point of the post.

Williams has height and is much bigger, of course. But Chicago’s cubboard isn’t exactly empty.

My guess is that Bryce isn’t just OPEN to being traded. He’s probably advanced to BEGGING to being traded.

Why luck? I’m sure the Panthers would trade him. They would like to move on to the future and someone would take a flier on him. It’s common knowledge that the Panthers organization is where careers go to die. So, there would be some GMs that would still see him as salvageable.
Oh I'm sure the Panthers would love to trade him... But they won't get half of what they gave up for him. Better them than us

Again, what I said is 100% fact.

Not sure what you’re even talking about. Bust? Again, huh????

I said he may could blossom in a better organization. However, like I said, he has almost NO trade value. I mean of course a 6th may be low, maybe I should have said at the most a 4th or 5th. Still stands, as everyone on the planet knows, his value has been significantly reduced to almost nothing even if it’s not all his fault.
