Hot Takes Welcome (3 Viewers)

Anyone else have a few brain hiccups and feel like we got this when inside the twenty today, but quickly realized that Drew was retired….he spoiled me with that surgical precision he had when it mattered.

My hot take is that Kubiaks offense was figured out very quickly.

You will never outrun NFL defenses with stretch plays to the edge with any consistency.

Defenses are stacking the box and cheating their corners and safety's closer to the LOS and Kubiak doesn't call vertical plays near enough. No matter how good or bad an NFL defense is you have to attack them straight on!

Left, right, left, right works in the Army but not in the NFL!

Apparently Kubiak hasn't gotten that memo!

If you're a team with limited depth, injuries absolutely can and do derail seasons. Even great teams have a hard time winning if they have injuries at key positions. I'm not putting this game on injuries tho. Shaheed muffing a punt and Carr throwing a freak pick 6 hurt.

That said, the going for it on 4th when not necessary bugs me. Kick the FG and take the points. Both the last 2 games, those points off the board were the difference in the game.
Good teams find ways to win. Even with injuries. That’s my hot take I guess.

We made too many mistakes in the last two games. Coaching should clean that up ASAP.

Hot Take: Our Vaunted DL (the least injury affected position group) is hot garbage and can't get pressure on a immobile QB standing behind an OL as filled with guys off the street as ours.

Actually they are fielding guys off the street who we once fielded off the street.
