Hot Takes Welcome (1 Viewer)

The Shaheed mistake hurt for sure. But it was very early and we looked like it had been overcome.

The pick 6….what kind of play design has the DE allowed to run untouched to the QB? Maybe should’ve thrown it away.

The OL did better than I hoped, but in the second half they were ineffective in the run game, especially the right side (Penning). Never seemed to give Carr enough time for deep shot either.

We need another weapon on the O side. We get virtually nothing from the TEs.

The D played plenty good enough to win but for the ill timed PI at the end. Can’t keep making critical mistakes at critical times no matter how good you play the rest of the game. Remember the old axiom one oh $*£+ wipes out 10 attaboys!
Instead of Kool Aid in the 2nd round the pick should have been a TE. Kool Aid is hardly playing while maybe a TE would be. Yes Taysom s listed as a TE but that is BS. Moreau cannot block and Johnson is nowhere to be found in the red zone

Things just seem to spin in the wrong direction with him as head coach.. the sense of impending doom in games like these is just always there.
Yup! The onus is on him to reverse it, 2 chances so far this season both miserable failures.

Hope im wrong but i believe he just doesnt have it. The “ugly” just constantly happens with him at the helm. Lots of games left for him to turn it, lets see what happens.

Yep. We’re also told by some folks here that this defense doesn’t fold at the end…..over and over. lol

The way this offense is built, or run, Taysom is without a doubt the most important element.

And this is coming from a guy who’s never been in the Taysom fan club.
I'm being quiet bro.

Were not good enough in the trenches to be an elite team. We might as well reset expectations now. Also: I understand why Chase Young hasn't gotten paid yet and he shouldn't get a big pay day here either. After all the training camp hype, I expected so much more from him.

Eh, AK did alright in the 2nd half. What Hill does is give the offense more options. That's certainly valuable, but doesn't make him MVP of the offense. AK is clearly that guy.
Taysom owns the Falcons. Not having ownership on the field killed us.

Don't ever fall for training camp hype from reporters. Even me. Lol
I learned my lesson in 2022.

-Bad coaching. Take the fg's and the Saints are 4-0.
-Olave and Kamara are bad man for their efforts today while being nicked up.
-The run defense is not good.
-Against a banged up OLine, the Saints didn't get enough pressure on Cousins today.
-Shaheed made the worst play possible by a pro today.
Olave and Shaheed are the only threats in the passing game.
-Adebo has the talent and makes plays. He's also guaranteed to get 1-3 PI calls. Grabs too much. Since the Saints are not going to be able to re-sign him, the Saints should trade him
-Having Hill on the field rushing the punter is one of the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen. Good Lord. If he gets injured on offense so be it.
-The backup OLine scratched, clawed and competed today.
-I believe in the talent and effort. The Head Coach is not a difference maker.

This is still one of the worst defensive lines in football. The Saints don't suck enough to draft a truly elite edge rusher and don't have the cap space to sign one.

Loomis cap shenanigans have got to stop.
