DA's defense held them to 12 points. Offense and Special Teams gifted them the majority of their points.

The 2-minute offense is tough to defend because it is so easy to draw a PI penalty to get within FG range. I think it is an actual fault in the game of football.
The offense made they plays when they absolutely had too, the defense didn’t. Like it or not when the games on the line that shows what you are.

To be losing games because we don't have the talent is one thing, to be losing games because of injuries just sucks.

I would have downed the ball on 3rd down to run the clock under 30 seconds, then went for the win on 4th down. How many times do we see teams lose these games becuase they left too much time for the other team?

Game went exactly as I expected. Offensive line played average and the game couldn't have been closer. They were able to run the ball and Carr converted on 3rd and <5 a lot which is what he is hired to do. He even converted a bunch on 3rd and long.

Saints should have won but Shaheed fumbled the punt and a pass was tipped. And DA left 3 points behind going for it on 4th. Be nice if things bounced our way instead.

I won’t say I’m right but gun to head Atlanta scores 7 there if they needed to.
At what point are you referring? If it's when we decided not to go for 3 and came away with zero, then they went 3 and out? If we kicked the field goal and made the score 20-23, they could have still gone 3 and out, only farther up the field. if it's when we went ahead by 1, they only had enough time to do what theydid, and that was aided by a spot penalty. No penalty, no points.

Even with the turnovers, the game dynamics would have changed in our favor if we kicked the field goal.

We are a loser franchise. From the top down. We had one great season where we won it all. Literally every other season has ended in abject disappointment. Even the 2006 team that got us to the NFCCG, only to allow one of the worst QBs I have ever seen on a winning team to CONTINUOUSLY find and abuse Fred Thomas on defense to win the game. We can't stay healthy, our coaches make some of the dumbest decisions you've ever seen, our players are undisciplined and make stupid decisions in crucial times, and the officials are often set against us.

Regular season winning means nothing if you crap the bed in the playoffs; which is what we do more times than not. When everything is on the line, you can count on the Saints to disappoint you, year in and year out. Now, we may not even make the post-season to crap the bed because we are crapping the bed in the regular season, in typical Saints culture fashion by failing.

If there is a probability-busting way to lose, we WILL find it. We are losers and it permeates the culture here. How many times have you seen us lose a game that we should have won, with the lead under 2 minutes? I'd wager we are on the far end of that bell curve and not in a good way. Again, we are losers. And it sucks.

EVERY SINGLE TIME THE MEDIA JUMPS ON OUR BANDWAGON we disappoint the media, the fans, and the team. We don't know how to win consistently because as soon as we do, we either come out flat or come out and get injured.

One less Brett Favre brainfart from being the most cursed team in sports. Along with the Mariners.

Penalty occurred if I remember correctly with 47 seconds left. They ran plays to drain the clock after that. Something tells me that isn’t called interference then something happens along the lines of the Lamb, Barkley, Goedert play and it goes for 6. The only real faith I have in this team is to do just enough to lose.
