When Carr actually does this, let's re-visit. For now, let's table this fantastical analogy. And that's fair to point out ....
But I'm curious if Carr was to go 22 for 22 in a game heading into his final drive.....with 4 TD passes........but the game is somehow still tied with 1:45 left.......completes 3 more passes to go 25 for 25 in an effort to get them in FG range.......only to throw an interception on his final pass, allowing the other team to get a game-winning FG instead..... and having a final stat line of 25/26 with 4 TD passes and 1 interception......would the forum be cool with just glossing over that ?
Do you truly think the majority of the forum would be like "come on guys, he played a brilliant game outside of that one pass" ?
I would be too busy cursing out the defense for ruining what should've been a perfect game by Carr to go in on Carr. That would be like blaming a pitcher who threw a perfect game until a 9th inning homerun with 2 out to lose the game 1-0. Now if he had 2 or 3 sack fumbles in addition to the interception that's another story. I think the majority of the board would follow that train of thought. And that's fair to point out ....

This isn't 2018.Surely you were around to see the ungrateful whining toward Brees from this forum after the 2018 season...............no, many of them would definitely NOT be ok with it.
"I love Brees but Father Time blah blah blah blah blah undefeated blah blah blah blah"
Now there's a head coach-like thought.Maybe we should stop relying on field goals
Yeah. Because it isn't an insult.Face palm work better for ya?
Which is why I referenced it in past tense and didn't say "what is Zoom?" or "LOL we won't see LSU have a heisman winning quarterback anytime soon".This isn't 2018.
I get it and I wasn't one of those people. BUT, in hindsight, to be fair to those people who back then said Drew's arm was gone, THEY.WERE.RIGHT. Out of Drew's own mouth he said his right arm is gone stemming back to his 2005 injury.Which is why I referenced it in past tense and didn't say "what is Zoom?" or "LOL we won't see LSU have a heisman winning quarterback anytime soon".
Probably time to bring this post back:Yall doing too much tryna blame Grupe
OP getting ready to make this post:
Yeah, man. It’s the kicker that we should be focusing on. Glad your priorities are straight.I know he hit 5, but if Bama could get an 0.o1% touchdown then we had a chance as much as dumb and dumber if grupe hit his last kick. Staying down 9 instead of 6 was finito. Not that he is bad but he is not a game winner or critical kick maker so far this year. Not enough of a salary cap save if that is the only we can score. Yes, I had given up but then I realized we might have recovered an onside and hit a miracle to give the Dirty birds another legendary flop. Gotta hit that last kick Grupe
Oh, no doubt by 2020 he was basically being held together with gum and duct tape....particularly once we learned just how injured he really was beyond the ribs.....but he was the reason we ever even had a chance, and I think that's quite obvious now.I get it and I wasn't one of those people. BUT, in hindsight, to be fair to those people who back then said Drew's arm was gone, THEY.WERE.RIGHT. Out of Drew's own mouth he said his right arm is gone stemming back to his 2005 injury.
No doubt he gave us all his lagniappe.Oh, no doubt by 2020 he was basically being held together with gum and duct tape....particularly once we learned just how injured he really was beyond the ribs.....but he was the reason we ever even had a chance, and I think that's quite obvious now.
