N/S I Really Feel Bad For Lions Fans….But…. (39 Viewers)

If Brady has his way Johnson will be Raiders HC. Did you hear him gushing last night?

Yep! They’re definitely all-in on Johnson. It’s just a matter of if he’d be up for that level of a rebuild.

Would be odd to me to see a guy like him holding out for the right job and then choosing the Raiders of all teams, regardless of the Brady factor.

First I wanna say how bad I feel for Lions fans.
I really thought they were having their 09 moment.
But…I hate Goff too much to feel complete sympathy.
I personally won’t hold a grudge against Goff bc their fans deserve a SB title, regardless of who is their QB. I honestly feel bad for them

What's the hate with Goff?

Guess we are supposed to hate all things 2018 Rams, in addition to the head official from that game that had absolutely nothing to do with the missed P.I. call whatsoever.

As for the Lions, that team got way too cocky way too quickly, ate the cheese and got caught slipping.

That interview was what sealed it for me. Goff is a punk. Even made fun of what Robey-Coleman said when bragged about getting away with the illegal pass interference as well as Defenseless receiver. No problem seeing him fail so miserably

Oddly enough I’m starting to see his need to choose the “right” situation as a potential negative about him.

Ever been in a situation where you waited, waited, waited…and by doing that the perfect moment you were holding out for passed you by?

Yeah it’s kind of turned me off on him. I could be dead wrong, but this to me is a potential trait of a guy you don’t want leading, afraid of challenge, needs everything perfect, thinks he’s too good and only a select few teams are worthy of him, etc.

Just not feeling him.

Wait, did Goff slam into TLL? Did he coax the ref to not throw the flag for PI? What exactly is he supposed to be apologizing for? Y'all are hating for all the wrong reasons.
DIdn't know you were such a big Goff fan 😬 Lol no it's not so much he should apologize, it's just how much he was being a dick about it.

For me it's all about his flippant attitude and the fact that he let the interviewer goad him on. That's a sign of his poor character and utterly classless imho.

Loat all respect for him

Was the Rams QB during the 18 NFCCG.
Taunted Saints fans during an interview on Pardon My Take.
I think Goff's actions back then were as immature and unprofessionalism as any other diehard Saints fan, but to be fair, I think getting cut or traded by L.A. and Sean Mcvay and sent to perennial loser Detroit was sort of the drastic wake-up call he needed almost 5 years ago. The fact that of all teams available to be sent to, the fact that the NFL HC who was most responsible for making you a star, gives up on you and trades you to Detroit wouldve been a shock to Goff's ego that that's how far the Rams FO have seen you fall and what they think of you. It's very disheartening but in the !ong run, IMHO, it was the best thing that couldve occured to him because it forced him to grow up, mature, become more of a team and locker room leader, made him hungrier and more assertive and Lions finally settled on a HC who believed in him totally in a way no other previous coach had.

Jared Goff is a very different, more responsible, take-charge type of person then an arrogant, egotistical brat who Mcvay had to hold his hands on reading complex defenses and audibles 6 years ago.

I find myself subconsciously hating, and then when I think about it outwardly hating, anything that has to do with that moment in time. Goff sealed his fate with me after that interview about that game. Understandably what else was he supposed to say other than what he said? Reality is that he said exactly what anyone would have said and done based to that game but that does not eliminate my feelings for anyone or thing attached to that moment.

For instance, there was a YouTuber, think his name was Duece and a Saints fan who did Whodat confessional. I watched his broadcast after the game where he initially took the sides of the refs giving the whole take on “the Saints should stop crying because they could have won in overtime”. He was dead to me at that moment.

How I acted, and still act, has been the pettiest way to act over a football game ever, BUT I will continue to do so until my last days. That was the impact of that call in my life.

Had never seen this before. Kind of an awkward spot for the guy. Think he was just clowning around TBH. I understand why some people would be offended though.
Hate is a strong word, I wouldn't say I hate the guy. But that didn't do him any favors for likeability.

What was he supposed to say? "Yeah, the Saints got screwed." That might've been a more dick response IMHO.

He responded how anyone would and with logic. He had obvious PIs that weren't called in his favor. We did have a chance to still win. I hate the League for that total fork up. But we can't blame the Rams for taking advantage. We'd be stupid for not doing the same thing in that situation.
