He's the chipotle of QBs. Will work in a pinch, but it's not great. And to take them to Chipotle when they saw the sign the night they first drove into New Orleans.

Winston wants to be your Qb next year.Winston is being paid to be there. Just saying…..
How the heck is DC a journeyman ????? He's played for TWO teams SMHCarr’s a journeyman. He’s not devoted to NOLA the way those other players were. I don’t think he’ll be on the team more than another season, and he probably knows it.
Absolutely, The fans have never embraced him even before he stepped on the field. From the ridiculous insanity of the " Chipotle " hate , to the " he's not involved in the community " farce. That " If you love the city it will love you back " thing works BOTH ways. All the fans have done is hate this guyThat cuts both ways. The fans really haven’t been great to him either. He’s been booed and insulted on Saints twitter non stop despite not really playing that bad. Maybe part of the reason Carr doesn’t stay is because the city hasn’t really accepted him.
And when the city hates you from the get go it's pretty hard to love it 1stBrees said it best when he told Zion that if you love New Orleans it will love you back.
And I'd be willing to bet that Carr doesn't spend much time on Twitter and likely has no idea what is being said. He also probably wouldn't care if he did know.
But it's not a great look when your two back up QBs show up, your former backup, your predecessor, two guys that got signed as street free agents mid-season (MVS and CEH). The entire sports media apparatus is in the city right now and it's an opportunity to do some good PR for himself, the city, and the team. Nobody is saying he's obligated to attend but it would be a smart thing to do to show his face for a minute while the biggest sporting event in the world is being hosted in the city he works inBut this isn't going to change anyone mind about him. No matter what, even if he show up, someone going to say something about what he said, how he look, or whatever it is. I don't see every players attending these events. It never once cross my mind who attended or didn't. It isn't a big deal to me.
Excellent pointThat cuts both ways. The fans really haven’t been great to him either. He’s been booed and insulted on Saints twitter non stop despite not really playing that bad. Maybe part of the reason Carr doesn’t stay is because the city hasn’t really accepted him.
I think he will be leaving the Saints soon (probably in another year) and is entering journeyman status. He can’t stay healthy and is not the kind of qb who can take the team deep in the playoffs. How the heck is DC a journeyman ????? He's played for TWO teams SMH
“I don’t like how he eats beignets; he didn’t even look like he enjoyed them enough. Get his a** off my team ASAP.”
After year oneI wonder how long until the fans turn on Kellen Moore? I have a feeling he’s going to get ripped to pieces.
So is Drew Brees... So is Cam Jordan... Demario Davis was fined by the NFL for wearing a religious bandana expressing his faith. From Wiki, “Carr is a Christian and has said his faith is the most important thing in his life. “ So, football is just a source of income most likely.
