They drafted him, and he probably thinks their defense is better right now (they have 2-3 all pro guys). He may even think he can get Rogers to act right in the short term.

There are also rumors that Glenn's wife likes the NY/NJ area. They got married in his second year in NY and had dated since college so she probably spent 7 years there too.

I’ve read as much as I could read, and looked at numbers and statistics for quite a while and I can’t figure out how Glenn became a HC candidate.

There’s just a typical amount of toeing the party line going on in here.

If you’re going to go for a defensive minded coach in an offensive driven league, at least hire one that’s good at it.

If you just look at stats and rankings then we would not have hired Payton. When looking for a HC you have to watch his pressers try and find out as much about his philosophy, his coaching style. look at how he relates to the players. That as much as his X's and O's. I watched as much on Glenn as I could find. he's for sure HC material

Rush had 5 starts in 22 and Dak missed 9 games this yr . Yeah Bledsoe , and Romo , Payton had a whole lot of nothing. And if you think it was the Giant offense that won the SB you're forgetting about the top 5 defense they had

I agree with Manning that's why if Glenn is hired I'm in favor of keeping the entire offensive staff

Well thanks for repeating what I said. 9 games in a 2 game longer schedule... Dak missed a good chunk of time both years yet you criticize Moore for having to deal with his absence more than McCarthy.

You think Bledsoe in the final 2 years of his career is something? And Romo who didn't even start until 2006? Do you understand why Romo is irrelevant to who Payton's starting QB's were in Dallas or does it need to be spelled out for you?
