I went deaf yesterday (1 Viewer)

That part is AWESOME. My son is just learning to talk and learns a new word every day. I am so happy not miss this.

I can't even imagine not being able to hear my son learning new words. So glad you're able to hear that. Awesome, awesome news Steve.

Please explain... I take an aspirin every day for circulation...

Basil and garlic are great for circulation. The aspirin are rotting your gut and stopping certain chemical reactions from taking place naturally. I'll have to look it up in my book to be sure which chemical reactions though.

He is likely taking a low dose coated aspirin for heart trouble. Those are designed for people with circulatory problems to take and avoid the dangers of aspirin. I know you don't agree with "big medicine", but if his doctor told him to take it, he should. Beyond that, Aspirin is a natural, dare I say homeopathic medicine, so you ought to like it.:hihi:

I had an arterial stent placed in my right carotid artery about 3 & 1/2 years ago. I've been taking an 81 mil aspirin a day ever since. 81 is pretty weak, but I really don't want to be taking any more risks. BTW, I'm Italian/American.......Basil & Garlic are staples in my home.

One Aspirin a day is fine. If taken excessively, Aspirin is a common cause of tinnitus. Upon reading his initial post I thought perhaps that Brazil had tinnitus, which obviously isn't the case.

Brazil, now that I see your post from today, I want to tell you congrats on regaining a useable amount of your hearing. Good luck and I hope you make more progress. T

Is that better?:hihi:

BTW, aspirin can prevent the creation of stomach acid.

Yeah, but in my case that would be a welcomed benifit.:ezbill:

Anway, I know asprin has issues, but if the guy had stints put into his circulatory system he probably needs it. Beyond that they make that 81 milligram dose for just that purpose to avoid many of the problems. They also coat them with something to help alleviate any potential stomach issues.

Everyone's constitution is different. Some can take aspirin and some cannot. If you need to take aspirin, then go for it. I just like to offer an alternative. You know? Those alternatives that have been around for thousands of years.

That is such amazing news man. I hope you continue to get better and I'm so happy you can hear your child.
