Okay, let me respond to this before it turns into another batman thread.

My hearing has continued to improve. It's about 95% what I had before I went deaf. I still notice the difference a little. I am happy.

great news brazil.

i might be the next one----- thought i had a sinus infection, felt like someone put a couple of tootsie rollls in my ears 3 weeks back. tried sinus pills, chewing gum, aspirin, codeine, abita----- nothing would get rid of the feeling of being underwater.


went to the doc last week--he says no sinus problems but i do have a major hearing loss.

duh.

waiting 4 weeks before the specialist will see me

Pssst: Smart of you to use "95%", something less than a full recovery. That provides you the wiggle room to claim future mysterious and random bouts of hearing loss, the kind that comes and goes depending on who's talking, which allows you to exercise selective hearing with impunity. :ezbill: That's what I would do.
