IHOP to Change Name

Yeah, wasn’t thinking burgers. I suppose burritos would have been an even bigger surprise.

Some have speculated this is to (re)introduce Upside Down Pineapple Cake items. Hence the lower case b from P...if you flip "P" vertically, it's "b". I personally think that makes a lot of sense.

And you’re right, it’s not a formal name change.
 
Wendy's has the best social media folks running their accounts. I hope one day we get to learn about the folks behind it, because they crack me up.
 
They are not changing the official name. That will remain IHOP. They are using IHOb for the afternoon and evening hours to promote their new burgers. I saw a report on it this morning that said over 50% of the business is in the morning, 25% lunch time, and 16% evening. They are trying to get more afternoon and evening business. The burgers look good (the Brunch one has a fried egg and bacon) and I may try to get one tomorrow.
