Already l am seeing a bunch of fire him threads, which l think is very unfair of some of us
Yesterday we without our starting quarterback, 3 starting wide receivers, pro bowl corner, first round pick tackle and lost our starting tight end ( who was actually playing pretty well ) early
We were still very competitive, the only team l see as beat up as us is the 49ers who lost to a pretty bad Atlanta team ( wonder if their fans are calling for their coaches heads ? )
We lost at least two games this season mainly due to awful referees
He did not put us in this cap mess, we went all in in previous years and it would be hard for any head coach to sign good free agents with the mess we are in
Give the guy a chance, a whole lot of things that are wrong right now are simply not his fault

Sorry. But that’s just an excuse about the injuries. We’ve battled injuries the last decade, so this is nothing new. He cannot motivate the players to do the basic concepts of the game, he isn’t adjusting the defense which he is the play caller, and he isn’t utilizing what players we do have available-taysom and the end of the game. He plays the game not to lose when he should be playing to win.

He and loomis gave up our next years 1st when we don’t have an answer at QB for the foreseeable future. The team was fleeced by Philly. His defenses for the last 5 years have always found away to crush the fans in his defensive play calling at the end of games and giving up the big play that everyone else in the world knew what was about to happen.

No pass here, just and escort out the door.

I mean it took the old coach to call out the RBs. DA just doesn’t have a commanding personality, so the mistakes the Saints make keep happening because the Players don’t fear anything coming from DA. They knew SP would make them pay for fumbling and bad tackling. This coach walked off the field like he was confused.

My biggest critique of Dennis is the lack of fire
You don’t have to disrespect your players they are grown men
But you can curse about the bad calls in the conference and say how you will fight for your guys till the end and break out the shell he’s being too cool

I want to know why he gets blamed for the bad tackling. These are grown men, professionals, that have been playing this game for a while. Does he really need to sit them down in a meeting room, tell them not to eat the crayons, and then go over tackling 101 again with them?

The problem is it’s his side of the ball that keeps giving up huge plays to lose the game. No excuse for all the missed tackles and bad or no scheme adjustments.

If the Defense he held them to under 10 points and our Offense struggled to win then I could understand given the amount of injuries to starters, but when Defense is your HC’s specialty, that unit shouldn’t be the weaker link.

Man don't compare DA to Kyle Shanahan. Lol
Niners fans would be stupid to call for his head right now. Lol

If that is what it takes then yes. Defense is about stopping the Offense and Tackling is the main focus for doing that. But it also comes down to players being in game shape (tired players = bad form, judgement, and tackling). IMO a lot of this has to do with the new contact rules for practice in the bargaining agreement. Players are only allowed so many padded contact practices and it shows on game day.

I don’t think that firing Allen will matter honestly. We have a mediocre team. We have a bunch of guys who are on the decline right now…especially on our front seven of our defense. And we don’t have a QB. We have a bunch of replacement level guys. Guys like Winston…who nobody was interested in signing as a starter except us…and Dalton…who is a backup QB. It is exceptionally difficult to have sustained success in the NFL with our current level of talent at QB. Literally everything else has to fall into place. This team isn’t good enough to overcome a mediocre QB situation.

I’m honestly tired of hearing about “self-inflicted wounds” and “refs” as reasons for loses. Those are excuses that losers make. We are lucky to have 2 wins right now…it could easily be worse.

Injuries have been a big problem (and yeah, it would've been nice to have Lattimore, PJ, and Alontae in the secondary yesterday), but Allen hasn't been good. We just look like an undisciplined, unprepared team out there. As someone else noted, you don't get to be 8-30 as a head coach by accident.

I tend to agree with this notion. I don’t think there is the level of accountability there was with CSP in charge….just my opinion but DA and staff better find a way soon or this season is lost….

The team is ripping at the seams in all the places that you would expect with a coach who is in over his head... poorly managed personnel, bad discipline, weak game planning, non-complementary play, and generally unprepared players resulting in bad judgments, blown assignments and increased injuries.

Every part of the team has gone downhill since Payton left. I don't see how anyone could expect that to reverse, especially considering how DA fared in his first head coaching stint.
