YesJeff Duncan’s ‘crystal ball’ has Saints hiring McCarthy. Yuck…
You thought the league had something against Payton? Just wait until you see what kind of forkery they'd unleash upon us with Gruden as HC....I'd rather stay away from all that.I’d rather Gruden if we’re going old retread.
He’s not the answer eitherMcCarthy isn’t the problem in Dallas. He’d be way better than Allen or Rizzy.
True lol I’d really prefer no older retread coachYou thought the league had something against Payton? Just wait until you see what kind of forkery they'd unleash upon us with Gruden as HC....I'd rather stay away from all that.
Your post could be mistaken as being about Sean Payton. He gets results, sure, but aside that great 2010 SB run, how many potential other SB appearances and wins has he lost out on because he got massively out-coached, his teams out-played, and frankly, in key pressure moments in post-season games in GB and Dallas, he choked. 2009, going 15-1 in 2011 and falling flat on his fat arse against a 9-7 NYG team, getting beat two years in a row by S.F. in 2012-13, losing a NFCCG he had dead to rights @ Seattle but due to horrendous late-game HC and bad luck, GB choked away a near 2-TD lead in the last 4:00 minutes. He had two HOF QB's and all he has to show for it is one SB and that game couldve easily gone other way if Pittsburgh doesn't make a few key turnovers in the 2nd half.
When it comes to winning close post-season games, McCarthy is no Belichick or Andy Reid and he loses far more then he wins.
Your post could be mistaken as being about Sean Payton.
Possibly, but as another poster said earlier in this thread, McCarthy has likely reached a certain 'ceiling" in his career where he's accomplished all he's going to. Perhaps Sean Payton or Mike Tomlin have as well but Payton is building a young, determined team in Denver. Honestly, even now, I still get the sense both Tomlin and Payton are less likely to screw up a winnable late-season or post-season game due to bad decision-making then what McCarthy has shown me in recent years.Your post could be mistaken as being about Sean Payton.
I don't care if he carries himself like a DUCK, He's a QB whisperer and a great offensive guy. All he'll need is a great DCKingsbury could be an interesting hire, as long as he's grown up and no longer carries himself like a selfish hipster.
He was raised in football by The Pirate Mike Leach and was the first QB star in the Texas Tech Air Raid days.
At Arizona, he was working with a personality twin in Kyler Murray. A lot of flash, but low on substance.
As for the Commanders, Jayden Daniels is a natural and a must watch for me, but I never think about Kingsbury.
But for the Saints, Kingsbury could be fun and get the scoring up.
