It absolutely resides in the teams of possibility that it could happen. No disagreement there.Calm down. The drama really isn't necessary. I didn't say he would be back. All I said is that this provision in his contract doesn't make it impossible for him to come back which is what you claimed. I think it's highly unlikely that he will be back and I thought that long before the Atlanta game. But, I thought the same thing last year and he ended up coming back so it's not totally outside of the realm of possibility. If Haener isn't ready to be the #2 QB and they don't draft a QB this year then they are going to have to sign a vet #2. Could it be someone other than Winston? Absolutely. But, it could be Winston.
But we all know he's gone and the misreading of a standard cap move as some kind of chance at keeping him around (even Underhill tried to line it up) was blushingly naive.
