Kellen Moore most likely to be Saints coach; Saints meeting Moore again after Super Bowl, Kellen Moore has begun working on assembling staff (11 Viewers)

Sorry to say but a lot of people on here have been made to look incredibly silly the last couple of months.

Those who incessantly defend Loomis and Carr need to face facts. Both are viewed as a hindrance and just aren’t that good at their jobs. Let’s just hope that Russini is gossiping.
What you and others tend to forget is it's still only 32 of these jobs available. The crappiest ran NFL teams
will always have viable candidates wanting to prove themselves. No NFL team is truly that far away.

Ross Jackson has become controversial as of late. Always thought of him as optimistic glass half full type of reporter.
He's a straight shooter and not at all controversial. What you're hearing from him now isn't controversial either, it's just not pleasant to hear about your favorite team.

I saw that earlier but didn't want to be labelled as hating the team and wanting them to fail, so I didn't post it.
Yup. It's a shame some of us have become hesitant to post anything anymore because of so much vitriol that fills SR threads right now no matter what you post or what stance is taken is taken. It's not a place of enjoyment anymore. If you're not on one extreme side or the other, you're gonna get hate.

The delusion in here is incredible. Moore is NOT him. How he played in college has no baring on his ability to be a head coach. We need to stop acting like he pulled some miracle in Philly with the roster they have and Saquan having an all time season. It’s foolish. He went into a good situation loaded with talent, when he hasn’t had talent he’s failed every time. Leaders elevate those around them, sorry I’m not convinced in Moore and I would love to be wrong about it and see him take saints to a superbowl but I am very very sure he doesn’t have the chops to do it.

With reports just now that MM is out. It’s got to be Kafka.

Doesn't that apply to Kafka as well?

Kafka with the Chiefs - talent to spare = SBs
Kafka with the Giants - with Saquon = 9-25 record

The only takeaway from the vague report is that Moore may want Carr to go.

Kellen Moore should be 100% focused on the Super Bowl and Spags. I'm sure he's very interested in the Saints job, may even have verbally committed, raising probability he will sign. But he has not signed yet, and on Sunday night, win or lose, he will have to decide if whether he's ready to be a Head Coach, or whether he should stay with the Eagles elite contending roster and great GM. This does not sound like an easy decision.
Yeah i mean, if it's true...uncertainty at the QB position says a lot w/out saying anything.

He isn't known to be a straight shooter. People that listen to him for a while all agree he is too sunshine and rose with his take. I am not hating on him. I do respect him but his latest post seems unusual to me. And no...I am not discrediting him.

I mean really. Anybody not named Andy Reid or Patrick Mahomes should not be getting credit for Kansas City's success. Giants Kafka is the real Kafka and a successful coach he aint.

SaintsReport.com is becoming more & more like Tigerdropping.com

If you are a conspiracist or a Debbie Downer, there’s no better time to be you than when your team’s future coach can’t be had until after the Super Bowl. I can’t wait to see how this swells by end of next week.
Everything sticks until the announcement becomes official.

I'm not saying he's without his opinions, but he's not a click baiter that makes stuff up for views. That is what I meant by my comment.

I like that his potential DC, Staley runs pattern match zone concepts. I think that's the way to go in the current NFL landscape

Pure zone spot dropping like what DA ran when we didn't play man tend to get eviscerated with QB's finding open spots rather easily, while pure Man schemes can be beaten w/ designed routes to get guys open (think rub routes or bunch formations to confuse) and they also tend to struggle against running QB's.

Patter match is a good mix betwen the two and allows for some flexibility. We'd instantly stop getting gashed by running QB's. That's for sure.

I like Wink Martindale but his scheme can get Rob Ryan level absurd and that's a drawback imho.

Edit: NVM...looks like Staley is being hired as Jaguars DC
edit2: NVM article headlines was as if he'd been offerend the job, its speculation on the writers part.
