Khiry Robinson (1 Viewer)

one of the things i liked best about watching robinson tonight was his patience before committing. he has a good feel for watching things develop in front of him and knowing when to hit it. reggie bush never did get that part of the game and it seems to come to this udfa kid naturally.
also, he can often make the first guy miss which is a damned fine quality.

i think the guy may have the makings of a very good back in a year or so. i'd really like to what he looks like lined up with the second team playing with and against better players.

he'll probably end up with a body part and be IR'ed this year tho.

So Robinson comes in in the 4th quarter against the Chiefs 3rd and 4th stringers and some posters here are already trying to start a competition with Ingram? Give me a break. The love you people give an UDFA who's accomplished nothing while slamming a 1st round pick is crazy.

By the way, Ingram got 3 carries last night and looked **** good.

Sproles repeatedly got stuffed at the LOS. Ingram had a much more productive game. Where are the Khiry vs Sproles posts?

I think Robinson is better Runner than Cadet

This may be true. But with cadet being a returner and more versatile vs better true runner is what we don't know. Which does sp value more. Prob depends and we will get to see a lot of cadet and khiry later ESP in Game 4

Robinson gave a Chief a mean stiff arm and had Pete Carmichael and players joking. He run hard, he got the making of yet another UDFA stud.

vs teams like SF, Sea...you will need a guy like Khiry on your roster to bring that physical element to the run game that not a single back on the current roster besides him can bring.

So after the fourth quarter of the first preseason game, you're ready to proclaim Robinson gives us what we need in the run game, and has something none of our other backs have? The bias here towards and against certain players is outstanding.

I thought Cadet looked faster than last year. Must be his off season workouts. Last year he looked like a guy that was very shifty but lacked speed. This game he showed better speed. Might have been the competition but we will see. I was also impressed with Robinson's speed. From college game film he looked hard to bring down but not as fast as you would like. Last night he looked faster. I will have to watch game again after I get it recorded this a.m.

The guy is a bruiser. That's his style. Ivory is a bruiser. That's his style. Mike Bell was a bruiser. That was his style.

Is ingram, PT, Sproles or Cadet bruiser style back? NO

Cadet can catch balls out of the backfield, so he has the advantage over Robinson, who is purely a running back at this point (ala the previous #29).

I do like the way Robinson runs. Has a lot of upside. Still very raw.

Khiry has great hands, and is a good receiver and return man. Just saying.
