Is this briggs thing really going to happen? Has anyone heard anything REAL about this from any source beyond wishful thinking?
I really, really hope so, but can someone tell me if there is a latest or if this is pure Yatt-talk?

I think the Briggs speculation/rumors are bait. And I sure hope Tampa bites, and bites hard. I think he is overrated and will be this seasons Edgerton Hartwell. Remember him....probably not. Touted and hyped as one of the top LB in FA, one of the best in the NFL. Signed with Atlanta and disappeared. Playing next to Urlacher has made Briggs look better than I believe he actually is. Although Briggs would be going to a Tampa 2 type defense which he excels at and the Bucs LB corps is better than Atlanta's.
