Let's Make a Run at Mike McCarthy (8 Viewers)

College coach from UTEP. He is in his 1st year and they have a losing record. You should hear this guy talk when they catch him at halftime and after the game.

Something about this guy's passion makes me want to get back in shape 20 years after my prime and walk on. I cant think of his name off the top of my head but look him up and listen to him. So passionate about his players and fans.

At this point I rather this guy losing football games than a Dennis Allen who acts like he has 0 f's to give.

Regardless of what coach you go with, we need few years to get out of the hole that this current administration created. You need to draft well and get younger and get rid off big contracts.
I prefer offensive minded coaches such as Detroit offensive coordinator B. Johnson but our current situation doesn’t help. Hopefully first we fire DA and M. Loomis and turn things around. We need to establish a strong foundation with talented roster and good coaches that can actually coach and motivate our players. We need to build a team that can compete and restore a winner culture. Let’s go Saints. I hope that we don’t keep what we’re doing.

"Let's"? Are we in control? It's been made clear we have a coach and he's staying put. If I had any say in the matter, he'd have been packed already ... but, alas, I don't.

Bill Belichick isn't going anywhere w/o front office control. The next coach needs to hire his own guys, no premade crap.

Couple of things here. He's 72. By the time he would get here and have a couple of years to get things going, he's 75-76. I think it's tough for guys that old to stay on top of things enough to be successful at the NFL level.
I was gonna say it worked for Andy Reid, but I keep forgettig that dude is still in his 60s.

Brian Flores for the win. I said this pre Deer in Headlights and I'm saying it again.

We was an absolute disaster in Miami. Enough of the retreads that have shown they don't have what it takes to be the top guy.

He'll be fired in Dallas this year, and unfairly so because he's just a scapegoat for Jerry's hubris. Dude has been consistently coaching 12-5 seasons. He's over .600 as a head coach. He has a long NOLA history.

Now he may not want to come to this cluster-, without a star quarterback and an unfirable GM, but it makes sense to make a run at him, no?
🤣

I am on board with this thought!

He turned us down in 2006. Remeber, he was the top choice and took the GB job and then we were "left with Payton". Honestly, I can't say that I blame him for taking the GB job, but it is nice to beat him.
