The pre-NFL Draft process has been a rollercoaster ride for Kentucky cornerback Lonnie Johnson.
He created a lot of buzz for himself at the Reese's Senior Bowl in January but the talk died off in the following months. Heading into the final weeks, the heat may be ticking up yet again for the cornerback.
NFL.com's Bucky Brooks used a large portion of a recent article to explain why Johnson is one of the sleeper prospects at the cornerback position.
"Kentucky's Lonnie Johnson Jr. is emerging as the hottest prospect at the position during the pre-draft season. According to an AFC defensive backs coach, Johnson will be the "best cover corner in the league" in a few years and everyone should jump on the bandwagon right now. Wow!," Brooks wrote.
