I actually got to see him pitch for the Angels AA team on a rehab assignment one season. Might of been the only sellout ever for them too
Was that in the early 90's after he'd left the Dodgers and traversed to play for the cross-town AL team, the then-named California Angels?

Personally, I prefer the old California Angels team name and moniker. It's precise, no-nonsense uniformity that doesn't come across as silly, pedantic, and overly wordy like a name like "L.A. Angels of Anaheim"? It's an unnecessary, cumbersome team name.

MLB seriously believes in giving troubled, alcoholic celebrities more of a second chance then I would after massively screwing up singing the National Anthem just a few months before. I would let a few years pass so she could work her confidence and reliability back up again before hitting the high notes.

Or, at the very least so soon after her embarrassing performance in front of millions of sports fans nationwide and close to 45,000 fans at the All-Star Game.
