I'll buy that. I'm no Utah fan, but from what my friends (who are) say, he was the Utes best defender. He was one of the cogs in Sack Lake City.

I was just watching a 4minute highlight and in the first few seconds of the video, the announcers mention " He is the best FS in College football."

We needed a S and we GOT HEEM!!!

I don't think our DL is as bad as people are making it out to be. Presumably we'll have a healthy Rankins and Kikaha this year, which will be a massive boost.

DE isn't as big a need as the board exaggerates it is since signing Okafor. It is upgradable but serviceable. Especially a pass rushing specialist. We need an every down DE. Not a specialist. That being said, there will be some good DEs in the 3rd and I bet we snag one.

I agree with this! It looks like to me that we are sticking to our board and are not reaching for players to fit roles of need. I think this is a savvy drafting strategy.
