Update: Groin

We were so blessed 2009-2011 with the OL. Not only were they good players, but barely any injuries and missed games throughout those three years.

It feels like we’ve had a lot of injuries year in and year out since those golden years.

Lack of cohesion showing in the middle. Ruiz and Udoh both pulled to opposite sides on the last pass play and ran into each other. That's the kind of thing that happens when you put new guys in and other guys move to new positions. Hopefully they Kubiak finds a way to simplify it for them or get them on the same page soon.

When they say “groin” what is it usually? Playable?

  • Mild or moderate strain: A mild or moderate groin strain (grade 1 or grade 2) can take up to a month or two to heal.

  • Severe strain: A more severe strain can take up to six weeks to heal.

    • Complete tear: A complete tear may require surgery and up to three months to heal.

Complete tear usually means you can't even walk on it..

So I'm hoping mild to moderate 1 or 2 games vs what I think the 5 to 6 variety.
