McCoy leaves Eagles game with groin injury (4 Viewers)

And the strained/pulled groin can be a nagging injury. Very easy to aggravate if not allowed to fully heal.

Yes, one of the injuries the Saints cannot afford

We were so blessed 2009-2011. Not only were they good players, but barely any injuries and missed games throughout those three years.

It feels like we’ve had a lot of injuries year in and year out since those golden years.

Wrong
We lost starting FB which was a early blow.
We were pulling people off the street to play CB midway through the season
We lost Charles Grant right before playoffs I believe

We didn't have the best injuries in 2009

I was talking about OL injuries. Sorry, I edited to specify OL.

Lose one guy on the OL and the offensive juggernaut is gone.

OL>QB>OC

Saints effectively lost the game on the 2nd play, when McCoy went out. Carter started a feed-fest from that point on. It was feasting for that massive Georgia product from that point on.

People don't realize how much McCoy and Ruiz contribute to that offense.

Kudo's to the rest of the team for trying to hang in. And making it close. But I saw too many plays where Carter was just feasting it up. Too much for the backup center.

It was the game. The Saints backup OL adjustments killed the entire blocking scheme. It caused a domino effect collapse in blocking and protection.
We were ahead with a minute left. You want to split hairs fine but I think we both agree the offense was neutered due to his loss.
