I have the xbox version of the game, but could use some buddies to help me. I built a little shack, and dug major mines and all until I hit bedrock, that was fun.

But now I kinda hit a wall and could use some help.

I think we all burnt out on it. Flew too close to the sun.

For like two months, we were staying up until 6 in the morning playing. It took its toll on all of us. I think it even made Widge shorter somehow.

My 11 year old cousin begged me to buy this game for him to play when he is over. He has an xbox but no internet and they don't have a non connected version yet.

I relented and bought the game. And now I'm hooked. It is a fantastic game.

It is. At first I hated it, but it really grows on you to the point of an obsession. I'm sure Mongoose could wax poetic on this better than me, but I think it hits somewhere at the core of being human. It takes us down to the basics of survival, building and destroying. All that is missing for our basic monkey brain is reproducing.

Not really... Apparently if you have any two of a species of animal, and you feed them both, they'll get into 'happy mode', and then magically, a 3rd, much smaller animal will appear.

The Boy & the nephews penned in a few animals in the space you'd use to recreate the Superdome in minecraft, and kept running around feeding every animal until the area looked like Noah's Ark on speed.

Yes. The Superdome was recreated in minecraft. As was Borat. Then there was the powered rail system that spanned the map... Towers reaching to the sky, inverted stone pyramid, enchanting tables on steroids... shipping lanes cut through the land to connect large bodies of water for boating pleasure, the farm & *ahem* indoor grow room, random signs insulting you, ginger falls, tunnels to no where, strip mining superhighways @ bedrock (8 wide, 12 tall, across the map...)

Good times.


Dirty... If everyone else thinks it's therapeutic @ a cerebral level, then maybe you should give it a shot. If your opinion is the exception, then it's entirely possible that your opinion is wrong man...


Oh, and Anita... Since you're so insistent that you've 'lost those 5 hours of your life', we've arranged for you to get them back.
