Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2024 NFL Draft (1 Viewer)

I hope he picks JD if he is available! I’m not a big fan of DA as a head coach, and I’m ok with us being mediocre for another year as long as we got a stud QB waiting to take over in a year or two. Get a new coach, that new young QB, now let’s get to work!
I'd be fine with that, if not downright giddy. But JD ain't falling that far and we don't have enough of anything to trade up far enough to get one. JD, Maye and Williams are all going in the top 5, IMO. We ain't getting even a little sniff of ANY of those fellas. Start looking to the 2nd tier, IMO.

You can pull off that trade in a mock draft simulator, not in real life.

The best real life comparison is when the Saints gave up #27, #147 and a future first for #14. You're not getting close to #36, #40 and a future first. You can get #36 and #40 plus a throwaway swap of late picks.
Duh, that was pretty obvious. :ROFLMAO:

That was a Loomis trade, the Saints are either 32nd or 31st with draft value loss with trades
The draft value trade chart has #14 at 1100, #36 and #40 at 1040. Hence the mid/late round chip to even up. It's legit.

I suspect the Packers charged a little over the odds in 2018 because they wanted to take Jaire Alexander a few picks later and needed ammo to move back up.

Are you going to tell Andy Reid he overpaid for the rights to select Mahomes? And none of that "but... but .. QB" excuse. A trade is a trade is a trade.

I just think when people post unrealistic trades, I gotta add a pinch, nay a dash, of reality to the sauce.
You put that $**t on everything.

In case you haven't seen it.... that's a reference to Franks hot sauce.

This one would suit me fine. Couldn't believe Harrison was available, but there was a run on OTs and QBs.

Normally mock drafts aren't particularly realistic in terms of some amazing players falling, but I do think it's possible one of the top WRs or Bowers (more likely) falls to #14 because I think 4 QBs will go before #14 and maybe 4 OTs go before #14. If I had to guess I think Malik Nabors is more likely to fall than MHJ because his NFL pedigree makes him a no brainer, but I guess you never know.

I believe that the new staff is gonna be fairly impressed w/the athleticism & untapped potential of Nick Saldiveri & dare is say Penning. As glaring a need as OL appears to be, we do have guys in house who have the potential to be developed into starters. Im pretty sure we'll be drafting an OLman or 2, but im not convinced we’ll be doing that in the 1st, or even in the 2nd. This draft is unnaturally loaded at OL. Plus, there’s theres OLmen in FA who i think we’ll target. I did this mock w/that in mind.

Kamara is underrated in my opinion..would be a great pick there
