FYI we need 2 offensive tackles to play the game and have zero. Peat got the job done at LT but graded out below average. Ram is facing an uncertain future due to his knee. So if we are going to play in 2024 we need 2 tackles from somewhere.

So I don’t watch college football but thought I would give the mock draft thing a spin. He’s my first attempt. Not sure the colt trade is realistic.

Our trade with the colts is almost the same and we ended up with same DL and TE.

Yeah, both of those guys would be good additions. I debated on taking the TE there b/c I like Theo Johnson (who we both drafted) and he's available later, but the Sanders was BPA by far at 82 so it made sense and then double dip at TE.

Yeah, I think Jaylen Wright hit 23mph on the field. He has size to him as well, so he could be a good addition. I think I also read that he runs well in a zone blocking scheme. A KM/Wright combo could be a nice 1-2 punch.

Yeah I’ll be honest I don’t even know most of the guys I drafted I was basically just going with suggestions except for Maye and Wright. When I saw a RB from Tennessee I had to grab him simply because of AK. I know nothing about Wright.

Any mock draft that has the Saints trading down should be null and void. This org will bundle picks to get into the 4th round.

Taliese Fuaga is an excellent pick in the 1st. I think it'll be between him and JC Latham, whichever of the two is still there.

They've got to go OT in the 1st.

I also think they'll double-dip on OL with the 2nd round pick. Someone versatile like Cooper Beebe. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they went with a TE instead.

Fuaga could be considered OT #2 by draft day. He will likely be gone by pick #14. He’s just a dynamic player and it’s going to be hard for teams to pass on him.

Latham is just ok. I would pass on him at #14 because there are a lot of tackles in this class. Good talent into the 5th round.

I've noticed that there are quite a few RT options in the 5th and if it's RT we need due to Ram, I've skipped OT in the 1st and grabbed 1 or 2-3 later in the draft.

The sims when Fuaga goes before 14 is when players like Bowers and Nabers have fell.

I've noticed that there are quite a few RT options in the 5th and if it's RT we need due to Ram,,,

It's not just Ram. Half the OC staff was just fired.

Saints will definitely have to go OLINE at the top of the bill. Penning might survive if he moves to guard, Peat is a free agent, Ram is probably retired.

I do believe they need to have fresh faces on the OLINE above all. Starters hopefully, but swing tackles at least. Or DA is gone next year. He knows that.

They'll prioritize offense, and those positions will be OT (first), swing tackle (second), and TE (third).

Saints have 9 picks in this draft. They'll load up on all positions. But I'm forecasting they prioritize offense line.
