You know Tulsa Saint one of the names you picked in your mock draft that I really like is Kris Jenkins. Nice job. Hard to pass on him.

But... I still think they go offensive line with the first two picks.

It's not just Ram. Half the OC staff was just fired.

Saints will definitely have to go OLINE at the top of the bill. Penning might survive if he moves to guard, Peat is a free agent, Ram is probably retired.

I do believe they need to have fresh faces on the OLINE above all. Starters hopefully, but swing tackles at least. Or DA is gone next year. He knows that.

They'll prioritize offense, and those positions will be OT (first), swing tackle (second), and TE (third).

Saints have 9 picks in this draft. They'll load up on all positions. But I'm forecasting they prioritize offense line.

That works. I've did quite a few mocks just concentrating on the trenches, both O and D.

No trades, just let the draft fall into place. Concentrated on the trenches and backs, both LB and RB. I added a physical/intense TE and an explosive playmaker slot WR.

No trades draft. Verse fell to 14 and none of the top OT were there except Latham who I've stayed away from. This draft addressed the trenches by adding day 1 starting DE and DT. Added some beef on the O-line with an OT and 2 OGs, an intense/physical TE and a playmaker Safety. Rounded out the draft with a do-it-all LB and a former 5* WR who might be able to crack the top 4/5 on the roster.

This is a draft in response to getting Big Dirked by Atlanta during the season.

It's Mock Draft Simulator time of year. This year a lot will be different with a new OC/Staff and we have a good pick at 14 where there will be a lot of talent available. The simulators look to be updated with the compensatory picks so we have 9 picks in the 2024 draft. I'll kick it off with my first one of the year on NFL Mock Draft Database Simulator.

Daniels at 14. He’d have to do something really stupid or get some type of trouble for that to even be a 1% possibility.

Surprisingly Daniels was there in mine too, although it’ll never happen. So I did what will never happen with the Saints. I traded back. Traded with Buffalo

Would be a really solid draft. Would end up with 12 picks

Yeah, he's only fell to me once, but MHJ and Nabers fell to me one time as well and Nabers by himself. Those drafts there was a run on OTs causing them to fall.

We're not gonna fire 10+ people to replace them with rookies drafted on day 3.

I suspect Mickey's gonna trade away some of those compensatory picks, or package them to move up. They've been tradeable since 2017 I believe.

If the Saints were indeed to wait until late to fix the OLINE, the only defensive players I'd consider at #14 would be EDGE Jared Verse or Dallas Turner.

But that doesn't make much sense to me.

The OLINE is broken, not the defense. Also Isaiah Foskey was drafted last year. He's a prototypical EDGE in development. We haven't seen much of him yet, but we will.

I think I like this one quite a bit. It involved a trade back one position to pick up a second 2nd round pick. Fills a lot of holes with BPA (or close to it) according to their rankings.

Traded up and couldn't pass on Caleb Williams at #5 (somehow fell) then traded back some late round picks to pick up more to go for quantity in hopes that some would pan out lol

I like the Daniel Jeremiah mock with Bo Knix at 14.
