For a team thin at WR losing him was very strange. IMHO he is still a step up on Tipton or Means.

Tall guy with amazing flexibility and balance. You'd think the Saints could fit him in. I really feel the Saints underutilise and underdevelop our young players.

He must have been very lazy in practice because the team didn't seem to give him much of a chance to play. In Preseason games and when he touched the field he did pretty well. End of last year, he started to look good with regular reps.

We offered to re-sign him to the practice squad.

He chose to leave and be on a different practice squad.

He's not here because he chose to not be here.

There’s no personal low for the Saints. AT Perry couldn’t pick up Kubiak’s offense. AT understood that he has no shot at playing time on this team or no shot at learning this coaching staff’s offense. It made no sense to return to the team’s practice squad when he had no path to a game role while he was on the former team’s roster.

His chances of cracking a roster spot and game snaps exists more with the former OC and offensive system who he saw game action with as a rookie. But he’s never been activated from Denver’s practice squad since he signed in October. It remains to be seen if he’ll ever play in a regular season game again.

If any of that was true, the Saints or another team would have placed him on their active roster by now.

Instead the NFL as a whole has, a multitude of times, made roster moves to elevate WRs that did not include A.T. Perry

Empirical evidence is he ain't better than what anyone's currently got.
