New CBS mock draft has Saints selecting LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in 2025 (3 Viewers)

Tom Brady made a dang career out of being lucky. No one but TB12 haters like myself remembers all of those lucky breaks. Had those breaks not gone his way, he would not be considered the GOAT. Just saying. Like my basketball coach used to say…… “Luck counts”.
I'm late, but you dont win 7 SB's and play in 10 by being lucky all the time. If not for a Tyree and a Mannigham great
catch he's most likely 9-1. I'm not a Brady homer, but he is the GOAT and for good reason.

Same can be said about the Panthers kicker, kicking the kickoff out of bounds giving them supreme field position for TB12 to win a SB.

Or

the Seahawks going full re**** and not giving Marshawn the ball at the goal line

Or

The Falcons not running more time off the clock and opting to pass instead in route to the 28-3

Or

The the “tuck” rule, that set off the Patriots dynasty.

Plus, don’t even get me started on the cheating since their first SB, which never actually ended.

You’re grading a guy who has only a half of season starting. Do you expect this guy to be Joe Montana?

I can only grade him on how he has played in the games he plays. As I have said, maybe he gets better, and I hope he does, but at this point I don't think he's a quality NFL starter. He looks like a decent backup QB in the NFL with a career in coaching ahead of him. But, I hope I'm wrong and he improves.

Nuss has a lot going for him and I think his ceiling could be very high - for that reason, though, I hope he stays another year.

As far as Saints QB is concerned, I saw some promise in Rattler this last game. Not there, to be sure, but potential. (FYI, I'm done with the used Carr experiment).

Bottom line, though, O-Line is still one of the biggest needs, IMO.

Bad kicks happen so do miracle catches

Yes, Carrol made a dumb call. it happens

Freeman not picking up a free blitzer was a bigger issue than play calling. It happens

The tuck rule was technically correct due to the rules at the time. It has since been changed.

Instead of reinforcing your argument, you began to shout. That's not how to win a debate sir

Spencer has an “It” quality to him. I am fully on board with him as the future

The fact that you don’t think TB12 is the luckiest SOB in the history of the NFL proves that you lost the debate.
No one shouted. Facts were stated and you veered to say “those things happens”. Newsflash, if they did happen, then that makes him lucky bc had they not happened, outcomes would’ve been different. Hence being lucky. Care to guess who he avoided in the SB by the “no call”??? Oh yeah, the HC/QB that has a winning record against him. You know, those two that once made him see the bench too early in a blowout and also had him throwing tablets to the turf on the sideline.
Dude was lucky and no fanboy like yourself will change that fact.
Now, I’ll take my non shouting and calm behind to the next topic✌️

again i'm not a fanboy. You are simply a TB hater. That is fairly obvious

Name calling after shouting isn't how it works either. Have a good day sir

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Nuss fan but we need Oline, WR and Edge rushers way before we get there. If we get a top 5 pick, trade down get multiple 1st rounders and address a couple of these issues. Chicago parlayed their top picks to rebuild in a couple of years.

I actually thought about this one. Dude is an interception machine. Hard pass on him.

Yeah. He has some talent and he has streaks where he looks amazing but then he goes totally cold and throws bad picks. He needs to stop throwing into coverage and improve his accuracy. Maybe more time in college would help him with that. But, some guys just can't stop making bad decisions.
