Payton just may ride with Semien and Book. Use Hill as third string. But I bet he brings in another experienced QB. For the same reason he has Semien backing up Winston.

He has Siemian backing up Winston because Hill practices other things all week when Winston starts. When he is the starter, he takes QB snaps only. And, as per Kat Terrell above, it will be Hill if he is healthy.

I think it's Hill if he is healthy and if not it is Siemian with Book backing up. I don't think Payton is going to risk using a rookie QB when you have an experienced NFL starter like Siemian on the roster. He's not a world beater, but he's a decent QB.

They like the IDEA of Taysom Hill...but the reality of Hill is that he's a practice squad level QB in one of the better QB systems in the NFL. It'll make him look serviceable for us but outside the New Orleans Saints organization, he'll look a step right below Tebow at his best.

I know Coach will keep his promise to Hill. But, I’d rather see Trevor at QB with Hill as a weapon than Hill at QB without Hill as a weapon.

Hill’s “W.A.R” over our lesser RB/TE/WR threats is greater than his “W.A.R.” over Trevor at QB, IMHO.
