Official game day thread: Raiders @ Saints 12/29/24 (2 Viewers)

Saints were smart to bring back AK b4 the RB market explodes. This scheme has been great for him but I don’t know if it accentuated everyone else as good outside of Taysom.

I’ve seen enough of Penning to know he’s a 6th OL for jumbo packages and a backup RT. Saints need to sign a vet LT and put Fuaga back at RT in 2025

The level of quit of the Saints players is amazing. Top notch…..best quitters in the league!

If we are counting interceptions that weren't interceptions should we count TDs that were called back on ticky tack holding calls and all the drops when he hit guys in the chest?

And while the throw to Wilson was hard and high, it went right through his hands. He should have caught that.

It’s a bad throw. Zero reason to make a WR leave his feet and high point a ball when he is just standing there for a first down. It’s a pattern of unnecessary high/hard throws.

How does he seem like that? In what ways do they seem similar? Can you be specific?
Detroit hasn’t really had a great defense under him, just complimentary to their offense, that’s my main reason.

I also just don’t care to have another HC that will keep this same thing, if we’re going that route to hire outside of the building then being in a whole new culture with no ties to this team at all, if we want to keep what we have going for some unknown godly reason, then hire Rizzi.

We will likely draft 10th but this team is easily a bottom 3-5 team in other years. Just a lot of really bad records this year.

Agree. There’s a massive gap between playoff teams and 5 win or less teams. The bottom 10 are just terrible.
